Thursday Evening:
4:30-5:30 PM Tibetan Language Class
5:30-6:00 PM Short Mahakala Puja (empowerment required)
6:00-7:00 PM Chenrezik Puja (open to all)


Sunday, February 5th 9am-3pm

Day-long Retreat on Calm Abiding Meditation.
A series of instruction and practice sessions in the practice of Calm Abiding Meditation. All are welcome to come for the morning or afternoon session (starts at 1pm) or stay for the entire day. Bring a bag lunch if intending to stay for the whole retreat.
Suggested donation, $10

Thursday, February 16th
4:30-5:00 pm   Short Chenrezik Puja (open to all)
5:00 pm  KTP Board Meeting - open to all interested

The Mahakala and Long Chenrezik pujas normally scheduled for Thursday evenings are preempted by the Board Meeting.

Friday, February 17th
6:00 -7:00 pm   Informal Discussions with Lama Zik.
Possible topics include: Why do we do Pujas? Mudras. How to tell if your practice is working or not. Please email Lama Zik zik108@earthlink.net with your suggestions for discussion topics.

Sunday February 19th
9am - 3pm   Preparation Day-long Retreat including teaching the long Year-End Mahakala Protector practice and preparing the shrine room and facilities for the following event (see Monday, Feb 20th.) Bring your text and a bag lunch.
Empowerment required for use of the text; everyone is welcome to attend the practice and preparation day.

Monday, February 20th
9am - 4pm  KTP Year-End Mahakala Protector Practice Retreat with Tsok.
This practice clears away the negativities of the past year and opens the door for the auspicious unfolding of the Year of the Dragon. Bring your text, tsok offerings to share, and a bag lunch. Tsok begins at 2:30 pm.
Please consider being a sponsor for this day of practice if you cannot attend. Sponsors receive merit equal to those performing the practice and may request special prayers be said on their behalf. To sponsor the tsok or the practice, send your check to:

Sunday, February 26th
10am- 2pm  KTP Losar Celebration (Tibetan New Year)
All are welcome to bring Family and Friends for a day of celebration!
10am  Long Chenrezik Puja.
12 noon  Potluck Lunch.
1pm Drawing of the KTP Fundraiser to benefit the 3rd North American Kagyu Monlam which will be in San Francisco on
June 29, 30 and July 1, hanging new Prayer Flags, Slideshow of Lama Zik’s 2010 & 2011 India Trips.
 

FUNDRAISER

This present fundraiser will benefit the 3rd North American Kagyu Monlam that is held in San Francisco between June 29 and July 1st.
This is one of Karmapa's activities to benefit all beings.
We have beautiful prizes.  All tickets are $ 10. If your ticket is drawn we will give you a call to choose a prize.
If you are out of town, you can send a check for the number of tickets you wish to purchase together with your name and a phone# where we can reach you.  Please send it  to KTP, att: Fundraiser, P.O. Box 771, Sebastopol, CA 95473.
